Anadolu Efes with a decisive road win in Tel Aviv (71-79)

Ergin Ataman’s troops did it again!! In one of the most decisive games this season and this second and final part of the Euroleague’s regular time, the “Turks” succeeded a solid road win against one of the toughest (the second round) teams of the competition. Maccabi Tel Aviv (12-14) lost an amazing chance to “lock” in a way the top 8 teams, (especially after the new loss of Olympiacos in Milano) Even though the Israelis lost only the 3rd game (in the last ten they have played) it was seriously “damage” as this home court negative result could be decisive for the rest of the season

Giannis Sferopoulos troops lost for the first time after the 13th of December in their home court, as the quarter of Larkin, Beaubois, Moerman and Micic was amazing!! The two French, the Serbian and the American were unstoppable for another game, and especially the Serbian is for sure the most effective player of the league this second round… But, Larkin once more was totally awesome, the American guard ended up with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 turnovers in just 19’52”.

PERIODS: 18-13, 41-39, 58-58, 71-79.
