Basket League: Panathinaikos show no mercy against Panionios (96-71)

Panathinaikos succeeded the 18th victory in 18 games having as leading figures DeSwaun Thomas and Giorgos Papapetrou (the young 7 footer is awesome the last three games) and beat Panionios with the emphatic 96-71. Panionios has now a record of 4-14 while Panathinaikos as mentioned before an 18-0)

Ric Pitino is now focusing on the game of the 26th week of Euroleague against the almighty CSKA Moscow in Moscow on the 15th of March at 19.00

About the game against Panionos now, Ioannis Papapetrou was the “secret” power for Panathinaikos while the 18 points and 8 rebounds of Thomas and the 16 points with 7 rebounds and 3 block shots of Papagiannis were more than enough for the Greens. Papagiannis and Thomas shared the MVP award for their team.
