Basketball Champions League: AEK beat PAOK and is ready for the next round (75-84)

AEK succeeded a road win for BCL

Top 16 – Basketball Champions League and the Hellenic civil ended with AEK Athens proving its strength!! Luka Banki’s troops succeeded a solid road win in Thessaloniki and they are now simply waiting for the second typical game in OAKA so as to seal their participation in the Top 8 phase!!

Vince Hunter, Griffin and Saint Ross with Maciulis were amazing and lead their team tot the victory!

On the other hand, PAOK with many problems, not only physically but psychologically with a lot of financial problems had no chance against the thirsty players of AEK, while the “unpaid” Phil Gos and William Hatcher had no “feelings” for the historic game for PAOK.

MVP

Vince Hunter was the absolute MVP. The undersized center was active and in the court for 27 minutes, scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and together with the quality game of Saint Ross, Griffin and Maciulis and with Sakota’s perfect night with 2/2 two’s, 3/3 three’s and 3/3 free throws, PAOK lost the game and the qualification is now smiling at AEK’s side.
